Gamma Remixed by Pete Herbert - Artist: Los Charlys' Orchestra
London's premier Latin/Funk band Los Charly's Orchestra meets once again the wizard of Balearic/NEO 80's sound "Pete Herbert" for another finger licking edition of Balearic Nuggets.
Following the success of their previous collaboration "Rio Chico's Sunset-remixed", the London based production team had come up with a superb re-work of the song: Disco Gamma (Originally released on Los Charly’s Orchestra 1st album - Chicano Disco Funk).
A solid electroey bass line kicks along with the steady beat until a modulated moog sound switches on the engine of the night with so much power that it can not be reversed after! The night has begun! – In contrast the moody chords revitalize the spirit of the dancefloor to a point that we can almost feel the breeze cuddling our faces as the sun sets in San Antonio bay.
With many of the typical characters of the Ibiza scene such as Danny Rampling, Igor Marijuan, Ibiza Sonica & other stations already pushing the previous release this one will be a must have 2011 Summer Groover.
